Supporting OSALT

Oregon's small farmers and agricultural land are assets no one in this state can afford to do without. Every single day, every one of us relies on the fruits of our agriculture laborers, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear to the houses we live in. Whether your particular focus is biodiversity and wildlife habitat, open spaces, food production, the social fabric of rural communities, or the serenity of non-urbanized areas, it all comes down to the same thing: our working rural and urban landscapes are disappearing, but together we can do something about it.

With your support, OSALT can protect agricultural land permanently and keep it in production. Together we can research better ways to produce and distribute our harvests, and educate each other about how to support our local growers, protect our watersheds and ecosystems, and produce food, fiber and building materials that nurture the body, spirit, and community.

Our supporters are OSALT's most precious resource. You provide the tools and ideas we need to protect agricultural lands, wetlands, riparian areas and wildlife habitat. Support for OSALT takes many forms: gifts of land, money, stocks and bonds, vehicles and equipment, time, expertise, materials and supplies.
